Can I change / cancel my order after I’ve placed it?

At Kuriya Japanese Market, we aim to bring your orders to you as fast as we can. Therefore, we begin the ordering and packing process for orders as soon as we receive it. Unfortunately, this means that changing / cancelling of orders will not be possible once they have been processed.

How do I collect my orders?

To collect your order, please print out your invoice to be presented to our store representatives.

Can I collect my orders outside the collection time?

We are sorry but we are unable to cater to any collections outside the stated collection time period. Alternatively, you may enjoy free delivery with every $100 purchased within a single order or arrange for your orders to be delivered to you at $13 per delivery.

How long do I have to collect my orders?

Freshness is quality when it comes to food and we want to ensure that you receive the best quality foods. Therefore, it is recommended that you collect your order on your selected date. This is especially if you have placed orders for fresh foods to be air-flown from Japan.

Can I change my collection date?

At Kuriya Japanese Market, we try our best to make it as convenient as possible for you to collect your orders. Kindly inform us at least 2 days before your desired collection date so we may make the necessary preparations. However, we are unable to change collection dates for air-flown items as they could already be on the way to Singapore.

I realized some items are missing / damaged after I have left. What do I do?

We strongly encourage you to inspect your orders upon collection. We regret that we are unable to replace them once we hand over the orders to you.

How can I qualify for free delivery?

You can enjoy free delivery for purchases above $100 in a single order.
If you do not meet the minimum purchase amount for free delivery, you can still have your orders delivered to your doorstep at a flat rate of $13.

Can I combine multiple orders for free delivery?

We are sorry but we can only provide free delivery to purchases above $100 in a single order.

What happens if I’m not in when my orders arrive?

We encourage our customers to inform us at least 1 working day before your selected delivery slot if nobody is at home to receive the orders. We will do our best to reschedule the delivery. Additional deliveries are chargeable at $13, payable in cash to the delivery personnel.

Can you leave the orders at my doorstep?

Freshness is quality when it comes to food and as the weather in Singapore is hot, foods left in the open would be easily damaged / spoilt. In order to ensure we provide you with the best foods possible. Therefore, we will not leave your orders at the doorstep.

Why do the products I receive look different from the photo in the website?

Natural variants or different cuts in our seafood and meat may cause the product to look different from their pictures. However, we promise that the item is of the same quality.

If the item you received is different from the one you bought, please contact us and we will exchange it for you. 

How do you manage your storage and delivery?

Food safety is our top priority at Kuriya Japanese Market. This is why we are steadfast to the exacting standards of HACCP and ISO 22000. All our storage and delivery facilities and practices follow stringent standards to ensure proper food safety, quality and consistency. 

I want to order a product but it is out of stock. What can I do?

Here at Kuriya Japanese Market, we strive to keep our products properly stocked at all times. If you find that an item you want is out of stock, do contact us here so that we may assist you in getting the foods.

How do I earn Kuriya Japanese Market (KJM) Online Rewards Points?

You earn 1 Rewards Point for every $12 spent. The more you spend, the more you earn!

How do I redeem my Rewards Points?

Rewards Points can be redeemed instantly to offset your purchases. Every 10 Points is equal to $6. Simply enter the number of points you wish to redeem when checking out your purchase.

I only have 5 Rewards Points. Can I use it to redeem $3?

Points must be redeemed in multiples of 10.

When do my Rewards Points expire?

Your Rewards Points are valid for a period of 3 months from the date of purchase.

My Rewards Points are expiring! Can they be extended?

Your Rewards Points are valid for a period of 3 months from the date of purchase. We regret that the validity cannot be extended.

How do I check my KJM Online Rewards Points balance?

You can check your points balance here. You may also access your points balance under My Account > My Reward Points.

Can I convert my points to cash?

We are sorry, Rewards Points cannot be converted to cash.

Can I use my points at Kuriya Japanese Market retail stores in Singapore?
